Drew Howick, president of the Friends group, will speak to us about the Friends of Governor Nelson State Park. Located on the north shore of Lake Mendota, Governor Nelson State Park just celebrated it’s 50th anniversary.  Named for a former senator, governor and “father of earth day,” this is one of the few urban state parks in Wisconsin.  Drew will highlight the features of the park and what the Friends are planning for visitors like you!
