Hosting an inbound exchange student can be incredibly rewarding for your family, bringing an international experience directly into your home. You do not have to be a Rotarian to participate in the RotaryYouth exchange program. Host families provide room and board and share their lives with exchange students, involving them in family, community, and cultural activities. All host families are screened and trained. Because Rotary’s goal is to give our inbound students a diverse cultural experience, families (or couples or even individuals) typically host a student for only a few months. The local Rotary Club covers the cost of school lunches, basic cell phone and a modest monthly stipend to the student for pocket money.
