Madison Artist Jerry Butler spoke to us on painting murals with troubled and disadvantaged youth. Born in Mississippi, but a long-time Madison resident, Jerry started as an art teacher at Lincoln Middle School and eventually began working with young people at the Juvenile Detention Center. Takes on projects across the US. Lots of eye-catching murals around the country, four of them in Madison.
