For many years our Rotary Club recognized members who were military veterans by publishing a listing of those members on or around Veterans Day each year. The member who kept the list is no longer with us and I would like to re-establish the annual tradition of publishing a listing of members who were Veterans.
To that end, I am asking each member to provide me with the following information regarding
your military service
your military service
- Full name as you would like it published
- Years of Active Service (example 1959 -1962)
- Branch of Service
- Overseas Service years
- Overseas Location
- Honor Flight participant: Yes or No.
If you had several years of active Reserve Duty, that should be included.
With the merger of the two clubs, it should be an interesting list and maybe a few good stories
will come out of it.
If you are not a Veteran, please respond stating that fact.
If I don’t get a response, I will be calling you directly. Hopefully you will save me from spending
time on the telephone.
I would like the information emailed to me as-soon-as-possible and no later than October 21 st
