As Communications Manager and jack of all trades, Richard has been with the station (FM 95.5) since its launch two years ago. The station broadcasts low power (10 watts) with a range of about ten miles. On air 24/7, the station offers a rich mix of programming – all kinds of music, as well as poetry, personal health, community outreach, talk, and youth shows. It includes a unique range of music that speaks to Madison’s diverse, underserved population. The station train interns from the UW, Edgewood College, and Memorial High School. They maintain high visibility in the community. Our Club has helped fund this important project. And the station is always looking for new show ideas and hosts.
