With the exception of two pandemic years, Madison West Towne Middleton Rotary has been highly involved in RYLA – Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.  The leadership training program for high school sophomores is designed to build future leaders.  For 2022, we are providing scholarships for five students to attend RYLA.

Additionally, we are again providing lunch for the students and leaders on Saturday, May 21.  It’s a big effort to coordinate and implement the planning, shopping, preparing, and serving to approximately 150 people in three waves.  Your help in any of these areas makes this a fun project. Typically we leave Middleton/Madison around 8:30 am and finish around 1 pm. This year we are hoping for the optional opportunity to see a training session in action after lunch so you better understand the value of RYLA.

Please plan on being at our planning meeting on May 13, after our Club meeting to learn which part of the process you will want to sign up for. It’s a great opportunity for you and your family to enjoy fellowship with Rotary members.
