President Kathy Roberg (and 5 companions) are traveling to the Dominican Republic on October 29 to meet up with the group of Haitian women she works with from Thiotte, Haiti.  As it is too dangerous to travel inside Haiti, the women will travel to Anse a Petre and cross the border into Pedernales DR.   They will be able to have 3 days and two nights together.  Among other things, the ladies asked for bars of soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste for the children (there are 109 children in the "surround school" project that they run). 

Money was collected from members at the last meeting but likely still in need of small bars of soap (which is environmentally much better than shampoo/body wash in plastic bottles from hotels). and travel size toothpaste.  Toothbrushes - may have enough - but there are always people that can use them.
