We need a new one. Here’s a writeup from past YPO Mick Faulhaber on the job. Give it some thought and consider volunteering.

Several years ago, I became our club’s YPO. During that time, I became closer to Rotary’s Youth Exchange program and, more importantly, to our inbound students from around the world. This afforded me the opportunity to visit the homes of the hosts’ families and to meet the people who so graciously offer their family life to another world culture. What a terrific international experience.

But now is the time for me to open this position to another club member to have this experience of a lifetime. It worked for me during my busy career as the time commitment was not that demanding: three home visits a year, a couple of social gatherings, an annual district training session, and a certification background check. It also kept me focused on the student’s wellbeing and ensuring that they were in a safe and rewarding environment.

Please think about this opportunity and open the door of service to Rotary’s and our club’s international avenue of service.

Go for it!
