Our next bike ride for Team McAdow is scheduled for 9:00 AM on Saturday, May 7th, in Middleton. The weather should be mostly sunny, mid-50’s and a light breeze from the northeast.
This ride will start in the northeast corner of the Costco parking lot in Middleton. Nearly all of the trip will be on off-road bike paths – a combination of pavement, crushed limestone, boardwalks, and bridges. After heading north, we will take the newly-opened path along Graber Pond, across the north side of the City of Middleton to the Pheasant Branch Conservancy Loop (perhaps with a brief stop at Frederick Springs), and back on the Pheasant Branch Trail through the middle of the city. The total distance is about 11 miles; most of it is fairly level. There are multiple options for those who might like to ride a little farther.
