Dick Murray                                           Deb Dieter                                                  Matt Loch

Dick Murray told us about his musical life with the trumpet, although he soon learned that it wasn’t going to provide him a living. Originally from Janesville, he graduated UW Madison with a Music degree and did a Masters in the Social and Philosophical Foundations of Education. Spent much of his life in Milwaukee as a musical State Farm agent, retiring five years ago and returned to Madison.

Deb Dieter, sporting a broken arm, spoke of being a native Madisonian. Earned a UW Madison degree in Interior Design. Spent her career in business management at Petrie’s, Hilldale, with some time as a realtor. She now focuses on helping senior clients move to their next place. She loves puppies, enjoyed playing all sorts of sports, has built a log cabin, and loves burning prairies. She closed by showing us a trio of beautiful watercolor paintings she’s done.

A native of Green Bay, Matt Loch moved to Madison in 1972, eventually developing plans to become an attorney. Things changed, and he got an Accounting degree. Occupied himself auditing telephone companies, along with a few ‘entrepreneurial adventures.’ Married thirty years to wife Sue, with two kids … one a doctor, the other a dentist. Currently a VP at TDS Telecom, responsible for B2B sales nationally. Loves to travel, ski, golf, hunt, and fish. And he’ll be our next Club President.
