Brad Moore, Director of Procurement for Aprilaire, will speak on Supply Chain Dynamics of Sourcing – Indoor Healthy Air.
 
After Brad’s presentation, Jeannine Desautels will be selling a few items remaining from the Golf Outing Silent Auction. And Dean Ryerson will give a brief report on plans for our Fiftieth Anniversary Event (on Jan 22).

September 17 - “Things I wish someone told me about investing.” Adam Sweet of Jacobson and Schmidt Investment Advisors will discuss managing a $2B portfolio as part of the U.S. Equity Team. Adam is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter holder and has an MBA specializing in investing from the UW. 
 
September 24  - Msgr. Donn Heiar will discuss the “Service as Chaplain of the Wisconsin Air National Guard” 
 
October 1 - Gary Knowles will talk about Wisconsin travel gems and curiosities not to miss. Gary He’s the president of the Midwest Travel Writers Association and author of the “Gary’s Getaways” feature for Journal & Topics Newspapers.  He also consults with travel businesses and the author of “The Great Wisconsin Touring Book: 30 Spectacular Auto Tours. For 27 years, he’s led OpenAir Tours where convertible enthusiasts travel to interesting parts of the state. 
 
October 8 - Leo brings us speaker Pam Jahnke. Details to follow.
 
October 15 - Speaker Mariana Marques de Almeida on “Marketing Sheep Milk and Cheese in the Land of the Cows.” Mariana is a Senior Animal Scientist, Breeding Advisor and Cheese Specialist at Ms. J & Co in Monroe, Wisconsin.
Originally from Portugal, she’s spent decades in the industry here and in Europe.
 
October 22 - Bob Hoot will present a market overview of the Madison live music market and the joys and challenges of gigging musicians. What’s does it pay? How do you schedule gigs? How have things been with COVID?
 
October 29 - Treasurer Matt Loch will present the financial state of affairs of our club. This scintillating presentation will cover club financial structure, current budgets, balances, policies, processes and the basics of how things work. 
 
November 5 - Rick Raemisch is a former Dane County Sheriff and top corrections official for both Wisconsin and Colorado. He’ll tell us about the issues surrounding solitary confinement. He’s an authority on the subject, consulting widely in the U.S. and overseas and speaking at many conferences.
 
November 12 - UW professor and decorated geologist will discuss the geological formation of Wisconsin and more specifically Dane County. Eric has talked to us at the Pope Farm. Don’t miss this informative and historic presentation.
