LaMothe Lorimer, Director of Operation Hummingbird Environmental Center in Haiti will discuss this remarkable program for Haitians to grow their own food and resources to thrive and evolve into the future. Our Rotary Club has proposed a district grant that will fund the purchase of materials for two Biodigester systems. LaMothe has a law degree with emphasis on Environmental Law. He has previously worked with Kathy Roberg and Paul Patenaude as an interpreter for their work in Haiti. We are excited to hear personally from LaMothe. Dr. Louis Bernhardt is a retired Cardio-Thoracic Surgeon who has been volunteering for the BSP Free Clinic for over 17 years. Our Rotary Club donates to this cause. He will update us on its amazing history and what BSP is doing now.
