We are at the end of week 3 of the Ukraine Fundraiser. As of the beginning of this week, we were more than halfway to raising the matching funds, which would trigger the Foundation contributing $5,000, so our total sent to the Rotary International’s Disaster Response Fund specifically designated for Ukrainian relief would be $10,000. We are accepting donations from both members and non-members.

Your check can be made out to the Madison West Towne-Middleton Rotary Foundation (“MWTMRF”), with a notation on the check indicating “Ukraine” or “Ukraine Relief”.  Bring the check to a meeting or mail it to:

Madison West Towne-Middleton Rotary Foundation
P.O. Box 620312
Middleton, WI 53562-0312.

The FundRaiser will run through April 10, 2022.

Note: if you are a person who has to take a Required Minimum Distribution (“RMD”) each year, you can have your donation sent directly from your retirement account to the MWTMRF and not have to pay income taxes on that amount.
MWTMRF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity. The IRS requires that all Donors of $250 or more in donations have a receipt if they include the donation in their itemized deductions when filing their tax return, so for all those donating $250 or more, the Foundation will send them a Donor’s Receipt with the applicable information.
