Rotary’s Habitat Work Day is a  week away and we need 3 more volunteers.

One of our Rotary projects that puts boots on the ground is coming up. On Saturday, August 1, our club is scheduled to work on a Habitat home in Fitchburg. Our goal is to have a crew of 8  volunteers for this event. As of now, we need 5 more volunteers. Please consider helping on this worthy Community Service Project.

Details: Saturday, August 1, from 8:15 to 3:30 at 4610 Unity Ln.  Fitchburg      We are to bring our own lunch and our face mask. Six foot social distancing and masks when appropriate. You may want to bring your own water bottle. They recommend frequent hand washing and will have provisions for washing. You will not be required to do anything that makes you feel unsafe or unhealthy.

Registration is on line:    https://habitatdane.volunteerhub.com/lp/westtowne/

The Dane Co. Habitat home ownership program has been very successful. There have been well over 200 families that have permanent housing in Dane Co. through Habitat for Humanity. Habitat will assign a trained supervisor to show us what needs to be done. What a great way to help our neighbors!  Please consider volunteering on Saturday, August 1. We are here to answer your questions.
