Golf Outing Success!

Looks like everything went well despite Mister COVID’s attempts to spoil the party. 103 golfers signed up, sponsorships were up, the Online Silent Auction was tremendous, and the team running the event even provided us with wonderful weather. Details to come. Thanks to all who participated!

Program Ideas

Jim Olmsted runs the speaker program. He’s provided us with a range of interesting speakers over the last few years, both flesh-and-blood and virtual. But Jim’s fertile mind could use some assistance in coming up with program topics and contacts. Who do you know that could present us with an interesting program … hobbies, company insights, sports, hunting, crazy collectors, you name it. The only exclusions are politics and speakers that just want to sell us something. Think about the people you know … neighbors, old/new friends, people at your office or social club. Do your ruminating and then send an email to Jim at jolmsted7562@gmail.com

Habitat Work Day on Saturday, August 1

Pictured: Steve Aune, Dean Ryerson, Rod Nilles, & Mary Beth Growney-Selene. Others not in the picture: Andrew Aune and Josh Osing. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 3818 Eliot Lane in Madison. Work accomplished: hung external sheeting and put up Tyvek vapor barrier.

THANK YOU to all who helped with this Work Day.  It was a gratifying and fun “boots on the ground” event.

Rod Nilles reports on a successful effort:
