The Rotary Club of Madison West Towne-Middleton
Invites You to Our 2nd Oktober Fest Weiner Roast/Potluck
Date: Sunday, October 13th
Time: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
(After the Packer Game)
Place: Mary Ruth Mark’s Farm
7732 Riverside Road
Verona, WI 53593
Cost: Free, donations accepted
Please come join us for a family fun filled day. Bring your family, your neighbors, prospective Rotarians, etc… Pass the word along.
We will have horse and carriage rides, children’s activities, etc… Since we are close to Halloween, you may want to come in costume as well.
We will provide hot dogs (and campfire to grill them), brats, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic punch. We ask participants to bring a dish to pass, chips, or snacks.
It will be a day of fun for the whole family and all! This is a good opportunity to get to know fellow Rotarians from other clubs. Hope to see you there, rain or shine.

We are in need of some volunteer drivers to drive Sophie, RYE student from Germany, to and from our club meetings. Below is a list of dates that need to be filled. Sophie is attending Middleton High School and is usually picked at at the Main Entrance (Bristol Street) around 11:45 am.

Dear Friends,
I am District Governor of District 3131 Pune, India and on behalf of my district and members wish you all a great year ahead. Together we will make this world a better place to live.
I am writing to you all to appraise you on a unique event that our district is organizing this year. One of the clubs in my district, RC Pune Katraj has organized a global essay competition (ROGEC) with a view to Engage Rotarians and allow them a platform to express themselves on global issues concerning Rotary. The theme for the year is World Understanding and Peace.
This competition is open to all Rotarians, Anns, Annets, Rotaractors and Interactors from across Rotary world. The winners will be invited to India for 5 days and will get involved in various informative and cultural activities.
I request you to circulate this mail among your members, share this information through your Club bulletins and encourage participation in this event from your club. Looking forward to a great year ahead.

A reminder for all members that we have Kwik Trip and PDQ gift cards for sale
Our Rotary club makes money from the sale of every card sold! Cards can be used for gasoline and in-store purchases. We all need to purchase gasoline, and in-store convenience items such as bananas, bread, coffee, milk, etc. are competitively priced.
Gasoline gift cards make great holiday gifts!
The holidays will be here soon, so stock up now for gifts for family, friends, and charitable donations. They also make great "Thank You" gifts for someone who has done something nice for you. Cards can be purchased at club meetings in denominations of $25, $50, and $100. Don't forget to ask your friends if they would like to buy cards from you.
