A huge "THANK YOU" to all who contributed to McAdow Miles for Rotary 2013! We have exceeded our $5,000 fundraising goal this year. We could not have done this without all of you.
For those of you where were not at the meeting last week, Jerry McAdow was honored with a Paul Harris Fellow +4 recognition from the club. He is committed to riding again next year!
Donation Requests letters will be emailed this week. You can write a check or pay online using PayPal. If you pay before December 31, you can get a tax deduction for 2013. We will be accepting payments through March 2014.
I was recently going through my Christmas card list from years past, and I came across Victoria Luperi. For several years, after Victoria's time as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student, I used to hear from her parents in Argentina. The last time I heard from her, she was in Winnipeg with a symphony there. Curious, I Googled her, and found lots of information on her career. You can find it at http://victorialuperi.com/. Some of you might remember this talented young woman.

A reminder for all members that we have Kwik Trip and PDQ gift cards for sale
Our Rotary club makes money from the sale of every card sold! Cards can be used for gasoline and in-store purchases. We all need to purchase gasoline, and in-store convenience items such as bananas, bread, coffee, milk, etc. are competitively priced.
Gasoline gift cards make great holiday gifts!
The holidays will be here soon, so stock up now for gifts for family, friends, and charitable donations. They also make great "Thank You" gifts for someone who has done something nice for you. Cards can be purchased at club meetings in denominations of $25, $50, and $100. Don't forget to ask your friends if they would like to buy cards from you.
