UPCOMING PROGRAMS:

Nov 3; No meeting, Labor Day

Jim Olmsted has done a fine job getting us speakers for the last few years. But he needs your help moving forward. Reach out to Jim (jolmsted7562.gmail.com) with your ideas for potential future speakers. Who do you know (neighbor, friend, colleague) with something interesting they can talk to us about? Serious or amusing, earth-shaking or just quirky. Let Jim know.

Fiftieth Anniversary Planning Has Begun

Planning is underway for our 50th Year Club Anniversary event in January.

If you have a membership list from the early years, please send it to John Olsen or Mary Van Hout so that we can invite all who have added to the success of our Club!

Let’s Finish This!

There were a few auction items, including a gift card and certificates, that were not purchased at the Silent Auction in June. The Silent Auction Committee discussed various options for the final disposition of these items. We have 6 items that we’d like to “auction” again at our September 10 meeting. Jeannine Desautels will be our auctioneer during her regular duties as sergeant-at-arms.

Please make an effort to attend the meeting, either in person or via Zoom, to give these items a home.

Thank you.  Your Silent Auction Committee.  Abby Benbow, Jeannine Desautels, Deb Dieter, Ruth Domack, Leo Edelstein.

Live Meetings Are HERE

The meeting place is Serendipity Labs, a co-working facility on the sixth floor of the Johnson Bank Building at 525 Junction Road (right next to Panera Bread). We’re in the SOUTH TOWER. Parking is easy and undercover. We’re doing this on a month-to-month basis right now, but it may lead to a long-term arrangement. The space is ample.

Our meeting place is circled in red on this map. 6th floor. For parking, follow the blue arrow on the map to underground parking. Go left once you enter the ramp. Parking is free; park in any unassigned spot. Go to the covered walkway to enter the building and grab the elevator to the sixth floor.

Bingo is calling!

Yes, we will be hosting bingo at the Middleton Good Neighbor Fest on August 27-29. This is a great opportunity to volunteer, showcase our club and have some fun. Deb Dieter sent all members a link to a volunteer site that includes dates, times, and a brief description of the role. It is quick and easy to use.

Our goal is to raise $3,000 which is the second-largest source of funding from the general public. It is big deal for us and we are expecting a great turnout for the event. Entertainment will include The Jimmys, Red Hot Horn Dawgs, The Love Monkeys, and Pacific Coast Highway.

Plan to be there and post it on your social media. We’ve been cooped up too long and this will be a great way to celebrate summer and make some money!

We Need Bingo Volunteers!!!!
