Area Rotary Clubs are looking for host families for two male high school students to attend Middleton High School. The two students are from Italy and Thailand.
Rotary exchange programs generally provide the opportunity for the student to live with three different families during the year. So, your commitment would be for 3-4 months. The students will be arriving in mid-August.
This is a great opportunity for your family to broaden it's global knowledge and impact!
Two:
We need your help.We have three students from Spain who still need local families to open their hearts & homes to their international friendship for 28 days this summer.
International Friendship is an organization that promotes meaningful, educational experiences and international friendships. We are truly passionate about providing these once-in-a-lifetime life learning experiences as we all know what a huge, positive impact they have for our international youth as well as the special, life-long friendships that come of it.
All of our Spanish youth that participate in a family immersion program have full insurance coverage, all necessary signed legal documents, bring their own spending money and are excellent students and individuals. They hope to become a part of their host family's everyday routine, whatever it may be!
August group dates: July 29-August 26 or July 31-August 26.
Please let me know of any events or special situations in our fellow Rotarians' lives where a card, flowers, or a plant would be appropriate for their situation.
Would you like to visit Nepal for a Rotary Friendship Exchange?
UPDATE: The Nepal trip must be from September 27 to October 20, matching the National Education conference that will be held soon after we arrive. They want our district to get involved in helping them improve the education system in their communities. And, a two week tour has been created for us, visiting the center of the country.
Our costs include airfare and rental cars, and Dr. Clemens is working on an estimate.
We can finalize details later, but everyone interested in taking part in the Friendship Exchange to Nepal should be ready to confirm very soon.
If you are interested, please contact Dr. David Clemens at the contact details below:

Among the key findings:
