Housing, Growth & the Future of Dane County with Chad Lawler
Nov. 06, 2026 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
As Dane County continues to grow, where will people live — and what will it take to build enough housing to meet the demand? Chad Lawler, Executive Director of the Madison Area Builders Association, joins Madison West Middleton Rotary for a timely conversation about housing, affordability, development, and the future of our growing region.
About the Program
Chad will provide an update on the Greater Madison housing market and discuss some of the biggest issues facing builders, developers, homebuyers, and communities throughout Dane County.
The conversation will explore housing affordability, the supply of new homes, workforce shortages within the building trades, and the opportunities and challenges associated with continued residential growth and development across the region.
Chad will also take us behind the scenes of the Madison Area Parade of Homes, one of the region's signature homebuilding events, and discuss trends shaping what and where we're building.
Whether you're a homeowner, business leader, community official, or simply interested in how Greater Madison is changing, this program offers a closer look at one of the most consequential issues facing our region.
