Inside TPC Wisconsin with Travis Becker, PGA
Oct. 23, 2026 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
How did a longtime Madison golf club become part of the PGA TOUR's prestigious TPC Network? Travis Becker, PGA, Director of Golf at TPC Wisconsin, joins Madison West Middleton Rotary for an inside look at the transformation of the former Cherokee Country Club and what's ahead for one of the area's premier golf destinations.
About the Program
TPC Wisconsin underwent a $25+ million transformation before reopening in 2023 as part of the PGA TOUR's TPC Network. The redesigned course was led by Wisconsin native and PGA TOUR Champions star Steve Stricker, working alongside PGA TOUR design executive Steve Wenzloff.
The facility reached another milestone in 2025 when it became the new home of the American Family Insurance Championship, bringing PGA TOUR Champions competition to the course and further raising TPC Wisconsin's profile within the golf community.
Travis will take us behind the scenes of that transformation and discuss the growth of the club, its golf academy and junior player development programs, the experience of hosting a professional golf tournament, and what lies ahead for TPC Wisconsin.
