Recent President of the Rotary Club of Dubuque, Teri spoke to us on how best to make Rotary a place for new and prospective members to grow into productive, committed lifelong Rotarians. Paul Harris himself visited the Club in 1926. Teri led us through a process for building a dynamic Rotary Club:
  1. Origination in networking but grew to be so much more
  2. Focus on increasing membership to counter churn
  3. Importance of core values, captured in the Four-Way Test
  4. Get new members involved quickly to build the relationship
  5. Measure progress, both in members and in financial soundness
  6. Build a pipeline of future Club leaders
  7. Get all members in leadership roles
  8. Support current Club leadership
  9. After Club leadership, move to a role in District and above
  10. Consider a dinner of Past Club President to consider the Club strategically
An excellent, inspiring speaker.
