After the Friday meeting Kate Schachter met with a small group (Ed Fink, Jeannine Desautles, Dean Ryerson, Mary Van Hout, Deb Dieter, and Mary Dunn). She provided further details about partnering with the WASH project in Georgia and the Memorandum of Understanding between Peace Corps and RI on conducting joint projects worldwide. Partnering for Peace is an organization of Rotarians and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers who are working together to build partnerships to create sustainable projects around the world in order to promote peace. Partnering for Peace is a liaison organization helping to smooth the layers of communication between Peace Corps and RI so that projects can be implemented quickly. |  |
